GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The 2021 Florida High School Competitive Cheerleading State Championships will take place this weekend at the
RP Funding Center in Lakeland. Due to a recent venue change, this will mark the first time the RP Funding Center will host the state championships in the overall
event’s history.
Slated as a two-day championship event, the competitive cheer championships will crown eleven divisional champions over two classifications (1A & 2A). All class 1A divisions will compete on
Friday, and all 2A divisions will compete on
Saturday. Due to capacity restrictions within the venue this year, the event has transitioned into a two-session per day format and will have both the semifinal and finals performances for each division completed within each assigned session. An awards presentation will also take place at the conclusion of each session.
