GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The 2021 Florida High School Golf State Championships will take place in Central Florida's Howey-in-the-Hills, at Mission Inn Resort & Club. The event will run Tuesday, November 9^th through Wednesday, November 17^th. Once again partnering with the Greater Orlando Sports Commission, this year's event will mark the 11th consecutive year of being in Lake County, and the seventh consecutive year the championships will be conducted exclusively at Mission Inn.

The El Campeon course, known for its significant elevation changes, will conduct the boys’ championships, while the equally difficult and serene Los Colinas course will be home to the girls. Both courses will play at a par-72. The tournament for each classification will be conducted over a two-day span, within in a 36-hole stroke play format. 

In girls’ competition, defending champion American Heritage (Plantation) in Class 2A will be returning to Mission Inn to add to their already state leading nine team titles. First Academy (Orlando) will also be defending their 2020 Class 1A team championship and will be looking to secure their fourth team championship within the last five years overall. On the boys’ side, Chiles (Tallahassee) will be returning in Class 3A seeking their third straight team championship, while in Class 1A, Lake Mary Prep will be seeking a repeat title and their fourth state championship overall.
