2023 Beach Volleyball State Championships: Know Before You Go

To be held at Florida State University in Tallahassee

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – In partnership with Visit Tallahassee, the second ever Florida High School Beach Volleyball State Championships will take place this weekend

at Florida State University’s Beach Volleyball Courts. Located within the heart of FSU’s campus, the Florida’s best high school beach volleyball teams will descend on Tallahassee this Friday and Saturday.

Setup as a two-day event, sixteen teams advanced out of their respective play-in matches this past week to compete in the single-elimination style tournament. Qualifying rounds will take place throughout the day on Friday, with both the state semifinals and state championship matches scheduled for Saturday. Of note, defending champion New Smyrna Beach enters the weekend as the top oversall seed and is seeking their second straight championship after claiming the innaugural title in 2022. 

Tickets are currently on sale and available through GoFan for an advanced purchase rate of $10.00 per day, and a day of price of $13.00. Parking fee is included and no onsite ticket sales will take place. Parking on campus is in the Spirit Way/Stadium Drive Garage. Friday, May 12
  • Regional Qualifying Matches, 8 a.m. through 2 p.m.
  • Regional Championship Matches, 4 p.m. & 6 p.m. (approximately)
Saturday, May 13
  • State Semifinals, 10 a.m.
  • State Championship, 3 p.m.
