GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The FHSAA Handbook for the 2023-24 school year is now available in digital format and can be accessed on the
Rules and Publications page or below. The Handbook publication contains each of the Bylaws and Policies set forth by either the membership or through state law. All member schools will receive a physical copy delivered to their Athletic Director at the start of the coming year. Updated Administrative Procedures, sport manuals, and other publications will continue to be updated as they become available.
As a reminder, the 2023-24 school year officially begins with Fall practices on Monday, July 31st for all Fall sports. For a complete list of important dates, please visit the indivdual page associated with each sport, or utilize the 2023-24 FHSAA Planning Calendar, which can also be found on the
Rules and Publications page.
About the FHSAA
The Florida High School Athletic Association supervises and regulates interscholastic athletic programs for high school students at member public, private and charter schools. The organization also recognizes and honors academic achievement among student-athletes at over 800 middle, junior and senior high schools statewide. Headquartered in Gainesville, it is the official governing body for interscholastic athletics in Florida.
