GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Partnering with both Polk County Public Schools and Visit Central Florida for the fourth consecutive year, the 2025 Florida High School Girls Volleyball State Championships will take place at the  Winter Haven Health Center on the campus of Polk State College in Winter Haven. Competing in a final four team format, semifinal matches will take place in the days preceding the classification’s championship match.

There are several story lines to follow this year, including six of the last eight state champions returning to Winter Haven to defend their titles. Kicking off the week right away, Lake Highland Prep (Orlando) in Class 3A will seek their eighth overall team championship. In Class 1A, the Seacrest Country Day (Naples) Stingrays will be in search of a remarkable fifth straight title and sixth overall championship – hoping to continue a streak that began way back in 2021. Liberty County (Bristol) in Class Rural also returns and is seeking their third overall and second consecutive after claiming the inaugural Rural championship this past year. As the week continues, perennial power St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale) returns in hopes of claiming its ninth overall and third consecutive championship in Class 6A. After breaking through in 2024 with their first ever championship, the Chiles Wolves out of Tallahassee will hope to make it back-to-back in Class 5A. In Class 7A, Winter Park returns seeking its fourth title in school history. Something to keep on eye on – the Wildcats enter as the one seed and appear to be on a collision course with Plant (Tampa) - the three seed - in what could be a rematch of the last two state championship matches in Class 7A. The teams split the past two years, with the Panthers claiming the 2023 title. However, each will need to advance from their semifinal matches to reach the classification’s championship.

Tickets for the event are currently on sale and being sold by day through GoFan for an advanced purchase rate of $14.00, and a day of price of $17.00. The cost of parking is already included in each ticket of admission, and no onsite sales will take place.
