GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The 2026 Florida High School Athletic Association softball season will commence on Monday, January 19^th with the first official practice/tryout date, however approved arm care conditioning programs may begin on Monday, January 5^th. The road to a state championship in Longwood will get underway with the first regular season games allowed to begin on Monday, February 16^th. The last allowable regular season game must be concluded by Wednesday, April 22nd. All post-season dates, as well as important information about the sport of softball can be found below.
