GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Academic Team Champions for the winter of 2024-25 have been announced, as well as the current overall classification standings. Each classification and overall sport winner receives a commemorative plaque. For overall classification winners, the top 10 schools in each category will receive points. Ten points will be awarded for a first-place finish, nine points for second, etc. The school in each class with the highest cumulative point total for the entire school year will get a special award. Points awarded for teams in single-class sports will still count toward the overall standings.

About the FHSAA
The Florida High School Athletic Association supervises and regulates interscholastic athletic programs for high school students at member public, private and charter schools. The organization also recognizes and honors academic achievement among student-athletes at nearly 850 middle, junior and senior high schools statewide. Headquartered in Gainesville, it is the official governing body for interscholastic athletics in Florida.
