FHSAA Seeks to fill the position of Administrator of Athletics

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) is seeking an experienced and motivated Administrator of Athletics to join its team in Gainesville, FL.

Job Announcement: Administrator of Athletics (full-time position in Gainesville, FL)
This full-time, on-site leadership role is responsible for coordinating athletic operations, overseeing compliance with FHSAA and NFHS rules, supporting coaches and officials, and managing state series events while ensuring high-quality service to member schools. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least one year of athletic supervisory or association experience (master’s degree and additional leadership experience preferred), along with strong organizational, communication, and decision-making skills. This position offers a competitive salary of $65,000–$75,000, an auto stipend, excellent benefits, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on high school athletics across Florida, with a target start date in July 2026.

Headquartered in Gainesville, it is the official governing body for interscholastic athletics in Florida.
