GAINESVILLE, Fla. –  The Florida High School Athletic Association celebrated an unforgettable evening of glitz, glam and statewide recognition at the inaugural 2026 FLASHYS presented by The Florida Lottery, honoring the people and programs that represent the very best of high school athletics in the Sunshine State.

Held at The Tracy Performing Arts Center in The Villages, the first-ever FLASHYS brought together student-athletes, coaches, educators, officials, athletic trainers, media members, school leaders and families for a night dedicated to celebrating the impact of high school sports beyond the scoreboard.

Hosted by Florida personality and content creator OMGITSWICKS, the evening highlighted stories of leadership, service, perseverance and excellence from across the state. The event also featured remarks from FHSAA Executive Director Craig Damon and Florida Lottery Acting Secretary Reggie Dixon, as the Florida Lottery served as the presenting sponsor of the inaugural awards program.

Congratulations to all of this year’s honorees and finalists for representing the FHSAA with excellence.”

As presenting sponsor, The Florida Lottery helped launch the event with a shared commitment to supporting education and recognizing student success throughout the state.

Dixon. “These honorees exemplify leadership, dedication, and perseverance both in athletics and in the classroom. We are honored to recognize their achievements and the positive impact they have on their schools, communities, and Florida's future.”
