GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The 2026-27 Florida High School Athletic Association girls’ basketball season will get underway on Monday, October 26^th with the first official practice/tryout date. The road to a state championship and UNF Arena in Jacksonville will commence with the first regular season contest allowed to begin on Monday, November 16^th. The last allowable regular season game must be concluded by Saturday, January 30^th. All post-season dates, as well as important information about the sport of girls basketball can be found below.
