Appeals

Due Process

The FHSAA Bylaws and Policies are established by the membership and each member school must adhere to those regulations.  The FHSAA Representative of a member school has the authority to determine the eligibility of students who attend/participate for the member school in accordance with FHSAA Bylaws and Policies.  Florida Statute 1006.20(2)(g) affords the opportunity to appeal rulings by the Executive Director or ineligibility determinations which are not provisions of Florida Statutes.  The FHSAA Board of Directors serves as the final option of the FHSAA due process system.
  • Sectional Appeals are held monthly (August – April) in each of the four (4) Administrative Sections

  • Board of Director Appeals are held in conjunction with regularly schedule board meetings which take place in September, November, January/February, April and June
