The FHSAA’s Sports Medicine Advisory Committee is the FHSAA leading voice in health, safety and risk minimization for the student-athletes in Florida. The committee is made up of a diverse group of medical professionals, The SMAC has deals with a wide range of health, safety and risk minimization topics related to interscholastic sports participation. In addition to regular review and as needed revisions to the FHSAA health and safety policies, the SMAC contributes to this information in an effort to ensure the well-being of the student athletes in Florida.
