GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The 2025 Florida High School Athletic Association football season will commence on Monday, July 28^th with the first official practice/tryout date. This is for non-contact participation. Practice with allowable contact will begin Saturday, August 2^nd. The road to a state championship will get underway with the first regular season games allowed to begin on Friday, August 22^nd. The last allowable District playing date will be Friday, October 24^th, and the last regular season game must be concluded by Friday, October 31^st.
