2022 Competitive Cheerleading State Championships: Know Before You Go

To be held in Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center in Gainesville

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – In partnership with the Gainesville Sports Commission, the 2022 Florida High School Competitive Cheerleading State Championships will take place this week inside Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center in Gainesville. After moving the Event in 2021 due to local restrictions in place, the 2022 Event will return to the University of Florida campus for the fifth time in the last six years.

Slated as a two-day event, the competitive cheerleading state championships will crown eleven divisional champions over two classifications (1A & 2A). All class 2A divisions will compete on Tuesday, and all 1A divisions will compete on Wednesday. An awards ceremony will be conducted at the conclusion of each competition day.
