To be held at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee on Nov. 5

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The 2022 Florida High School Cross Country State Championships will be conducted this Saturday, November 5th at Apalachee Regional Park, located in the state capital of Tallahassee. Partnering with Visit Tallahassee for the 11th consecutive year, the event will take place at one of the Southeast’s most notable and respected cross-country tracks. Buchholz (Gainesville), Class 4A, and Cambridge (Tampa), Class 1A are coming off their second titles in school history and would like to have a repeat performance in 2022, while Ponte Vedra will attempt to go back to back in Class 3A. On the boys’ side, Belen Jesuit (Miami), Class 3A, will be seeking their state leading 14th overall team title, and sixth consecutive, while Bolles will be seeking its seventh overall title in history after claiming the 2A title last year. Both Viera (Melbourne), Class 4A, and Indian Rocks Christian (Largo), Class 1A, will seek to continue their success, and claim back-to-back championships in their respective classes.
