GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The 2025 Florida High School Cross Country State Championships take place Saturday, November 22^nd at Apalachee Regional Park, located within the state capital of Tallahassee. Partnering with Visit Tallahassee, the event will take place at one of the Southeast’s most notable and respected cross-country tracks for the fourteenth consecutive year. Famed for its rolling hills, lowlands and pine forests, high school runners in the state of Florida will be given the ability to run on multiple surface types throughout their championship race.

All individuals and qualifying teams became eligible to compete in their respective classification’s race after qualifying and advancing throughout the District and Regional rounds that have taken place over the last two weeks. Some event notables include the return of all eight state team champions from 2024. On the boys side, Belen Jesuit (Miami), Class 3A, will look to continue its dominant championship run as they seek their state leading seventeenth overall team title, and ninth consecutive. Buchholz (Gainesville), Class 4A, will seek their sixth overall title in school history, while both Cambridge Christian (Tampa), Class 1A, and Bishop Verot (Fort Myers), Class 2A will seek their second ever championships. On the girls’ side, Creekside (St. Johns) of Class 4A, and Ponte Vedra, Class 3A, will each be in search of their third titles in school history. Cambridge Christian (Tampa) in Class 1A will be seeking their second, and perennial power Bishop Kenny (Jacksonville) in Class 2A will compete for their eleventh title in school history.

Tickets are currently on sale and being sold through GoFan for an advanced purchase rate of $13.00, and a day of price of $16.00. Parking will not be charged onsite, rather all tickets will include a $2.00 cost of parking already in the ticket purchase price.
