Florida High School Football State Series Play: various campus locations and sites
The FHSAA
Drive to December Football Regional Quarterfinal playoff matchups are currently scheduled to take place at home and school locations. Please contact the participating schools for updates on each individual game location, date and time.
The FHSAA has announced that it is approving Monday football contests for this week’s Regional matchups in order to provide more flexibility to participating schools. The FHSAA is committed first and foremost to ensuring that student athletes remain safe during this time, and understands that many districts are shut down and not allowing practices to take place. Please keep in mind that a Monday game should only be played, if necessary, based upon potential impact from the storm, district policies regarding loss of practice time, etc.
Thursday (10th), Friday (11th), Saturday (12th), and Monday (14th) are all options for schools to schedule games for this week’s contests.
Should a game be played on Monday, November 14, the winning school’s next round game will automatically be rescheduled for the following Saturday, November 19 to provide one more day of rest/practice. The game could still be played on Friday, November 18 should BOTH teams agree to it in writing.
