Road to a State Championship: Girls Basketball Brackets Released

State Championship Event is February 22-25 at RP Funding Center in Lakeland

GAINESVILLE, Fla. –  The 2023 Florida High School Girls Basketball State Tournament brackets have been released with all opening round matchups. Regional tournament action will begin this Thursday, Feb 9th for all seven classifications. For three straight decades, the final four advancing teams in each classification will descend on Lakeland and the RP Funding Center to compete in the state championship event. The state semifinal and championship games are scheduled to take place February 22-25.

All dates, times and locations are noted on the tournament brackets and are subject to change. Please contact the host school directly to confirm any possible changes in matchup times or locations. Additionally, digital tickets for all Regional playoff games will be available via GoFan, while state championship event tickets will be available directly through the RP Funding Center Box Office

The Florida High School Athletic Association supervises and regulates interscholastic athletic programs for high school students at member public, private and charter schools. The organization also recognizes and honors academic achievement among student-athletes at over 800 middle, junior and senior high schools statewide. Headquartered in Gainesville, it is the official governing body for interscholastic athletics in Florida.
