MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Melbourne High School football team celebrated its 500
th program win with a 49-7 victory over East River on Friday night.
The historic victory adds to more than a century of football tradition at Melbourne, a program that first took the field in 1925. Since then, generations of players and coaches have helped build the program into what it is today.
Friday’s win was more than just another number in the record book, it was a celebration of community, pride, and the people who have supported the Bulldogs along the way.

About the FHSAA
The Florida High School Athletic Association supervises and regulates interscholastic athletic programs for high school students at member public, private and charter schools. The organization also recognizes and honors academic achievement among student-athletes at over 850 middle, junior and senior high schools statewide. Headquartered in Gainesville, it is the official governing body for interscholastic athletics in Florida.
