GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The 2026 Florida High School Flag Football State Championships will take place this weekend in Tampa. For the third consecutive year, the AdventHealth Training Center – the indoor practice facility and home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers - will play host to the event. Built within a final four style format, this two-day championship event will consist of semifinal and championship title games in all four classifications. To qualify for their respective state championship games on Saturday, teams will compete in a semifinal matchup on Friday. 

Of the weekend’s competing teams, Robinson (Tampa), Miami Edison, and Seminole Ridge (Westlake) are all returning in defense of their 2025 titles. The Lady Knights of Class 2A, are currently on a streak of having won the last nine straight, and ten of the last eleven championships overall, continuing to cement themselves as the most decorated program in Florida’s flag football history.

On behalf of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Foundation, tickets for all spectators attending the state championship event will be available free of charge. While there is no fee associated with entry, all individuals planning on attending must access the ticketing link and complete the process all the way through checkout to obtain their free mobile ticket for entry.
