GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The 2026-27 Florida High School Athletic Association competitive cheerleading season will commence on Monday, October 12^th with the first official practice/tryout date. The road to the RP Funding Center in Lakeland will get underway with the first regular season competitions allowed beginning Monday, November 9^th. All post-season dates, as well as important information about the sport of competitive cheerleading can be found below.

• Region 2: Saturday, February 13^th at The Villages High School
• Region 3: Friday, February 19^th at Plant City High School
• Region 4: Saturday, February 20^th at South Fork High School
