2023 Girls Volleyball State Championships: Know Before You Go

To be held at Polk State College - Winter Haven Health Center in Winter Haven

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Once again partnering with Polk County Public Schools and Polk County Sports Marketing, the Florida High School Girls Volleyball State Championships are set to take place this coming week at the Winter Haven Health Center on the campus of Polk State College in Winter Haven. This will be the second consecutive year that Polk State College will host and for the first time since 2015, marks a return to the four-team format at the championship event. Semifinal matches will take place in the days preceding each classification’s championship match.

Event notables this year are highlighted by the three returning champions from 2022. Liberty County (Bristol), Class 1A, Seacrest Country Day (Naples), Class 2A, and Jensen Beach, Class 5A, will return to Polk State College in hopes of claiming another state title. Seacrest Country Day is seeking their third straight title and fourth overall in school history, while Liberty County will seek their second ever championship and Jensen Beach attempts to claim their third overall.

Tickets for the event are currently on sale and being sold by day through GoFan for an advanced purchase rate of $14.00, and a day of price of $17.00. The cost of parking is already included in each ticket of admission, so no onsite sales will take place.
