GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The 2024 Florida High School Dual Wrestling State Championships will take place this weekend at
Osceola High School in Kissimmee. Florida’s premier high school wrestling teams will head to a familiar venue in order to prove they have the most complete wrestling team in the state. This two-day championship event will take place on Friday, January 19
th and Saturday, January 20
th.
This two-day, team centered, head-to-head championship event consists of matches across three classifications (1A-3A), beginning with the Regional Final rounds on Friday. All state semifinal and championship rounds will wrap the event up on Saturday. Of the weekend's competing teams, each of the three 2023 state champions will be returning to defend their title: Jensen Beach, Class 1A, Lake Gibson (Lakeland), Class 2A, and South Dade (Homestead), Class 3A.
Tickets for the event are currently on sale via
GoFan and are being sold by day for an advanced purchase rate of $13.00, and a day of price of $16.00. Parking will not be charged onsite, rather all tickets will include a $2.00 cost of parking in the ticket purchase price already.
