GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Williston head football coach Robby Pruitt reached a historic milestone after his team’s 49-21 victory or Ocala Trinity Catholic last Friday.
He became the first high school football coach to reach 200 wins in two separate states.
Pruitt captured 200 wins in Georgia at Coffee and Warner Robins. His 200 wins in Florida coached at University Christian School (Jacksonville), Union County (Lake Butler), and now Williston.
Pruitt led his teams to seven state titles in Florida. He was inducted into the FHSAA Hall of Fame in 2000.
FHSAA Executive Director Craig Damon sat down with Coach Pruitt to talk about his coaching career, impact off the field, and his historic milestone.
