FHSAA Inducts Eight New Members into 2025 Class

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida High School Athletic Association inducted eight (8) new members into the Florida High School Athletic Hall of Fame this past Sunday. The ceremony took place at the Hilton University of Florida Conference Center in Gainesville with attendees coming from all over the state to show their support. With this 35th induction class, the FHSAA Hall of Fame has celebrated more than 104 years of interscholastic competition by highlighting the most accomplished student-athletes, coaches, administrators, and officials from around the state of Florida. 

Information on upcoming nominations for the the 2026 Hall of Fame Class will be announced in the future, with the 2026 ceremony set to take place next September.

About the Florida High School Athletic Hall of Fame
The Florida High School Athletic Hall of Fame is composed of prestigious individuals who have elevated high school athletic programs sponsored by the Association and its member schools. The categories of student-athlete, coach, administrator, contest official and contributor are included on the nomination form for expediency in understanding the primary area in which an individual is to be considered for his or her achievements. These groupings are for screening purposes only and to assist those submitting the nominations understand the type of information required.

The Florida High School Athletic Association supervises and regulates interscholastic athletic programs for high school students at member public, private and charter schools. The organization also recognizes and honors academic achievement among student-athletes at over 850 middle, junior and senior high schools statewide. Headquartered in Gainesville, it is the official governing body for interscholastic athletics in Florida.
