2025 Swimming & Diving State Championships: Know Before You Go

Presented by Central Florida Expressway

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The 2025 Florida High School Swimming & Diving State Championships commence this weekend with classifications 1A & 2A. For the third consecutive year, Ocala’s Florida Aquatics Swimming & Training Center (FAST) will serve as the host location, with the event being made possible due to the ongoing partnership of the Ocala/Marion County Visitors and Convention Bureau (OMCVB). Classifications 2A & 1A will compete this Friday, November 7th, and Saturday, November 8th while Classifications 4A & 3A will compete on Friday, November 14th, and Saturday, November 15th.

Individuals and relay teams all became eligible to compete in their respective events at the State Championships after qualifying and advancing through both the District and Regional levels that have taken place over the past two weeks. In Class 2A competition of note, the Mater Lakes (Hialeah) boys return to Ocala fresh off their school’s first ever state championship in 2024. On the girls side, Holy Names (Tampa) is winners of three straight team titles and will be seeking their fourth overall title in the event’s history. In Class 1A competition, Bolles (Jacksonville) extended their state leading overall championships for both genders and once again will be seeking repeat performances this year. On the boy’s side, the Bulldogs have a 37 year consecutive streak on the line dating back to 1988, a complement to their state leading 47 overall team championships. On the girl’s side, the Bulldogs are just as dominant maintaining an active streak of 34 consecutive titles dating back to 1991, and a state leading 38 overall team championships.

The championship event is setup so each classification will compete on their own day in a multi-session format. The morning session will consist of the preliminary qualifying events, with the Finals tentatively scheduled to begin at 5:30 pm each evening. Tickets are currently on sale and being sold per session through GoFan for an advanced purchase rate of $13.00, and a day of price of $16.00.
