2026 Soccer State Championships Week #2: Know Before You Go

Presented by Central Florida Expressway

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – In partnership with the City of DeLand, the 2026 Florida High School Soccer State Championships for Classes 4A-7A will take place this week at Spec Martin Stadium in DeLand. This year now marks a decade that soccer state champions will be crowned in the City of DeLand. Classes 4A-7A will compete this week in the championship event, after Classes 1A-3A competed last week in Auburndale.

This second week of championship soccer is a six-day event, with semifinal matches in both genders taking place earlier in the week, and each classification’s state championship match taking to the pitch in the days following. All teams that have qualified for the championship event after surviving their Regional Final matches this past week.

Of this week’s competing teams, only three schools are returning to defend their titles. Mitchell (New Port Richey) from Class 6A will be the only returning boys champion for the event. The Mustangs semifinal matchup will be a rematch of the 2025 title game against Mandarin (Jacksonville), in what was a thrilling game to decide the Class 6A State Championship last year. A win in this rematch will advance them one step closer towards claiming the school’s third overall title.  Meanwhile, on the girls side in Girls Class 7A, the Lake Mary Rams return in title defense in search of their fifth overall championship. In Class 4A, the American Heritage (Plantation) Patriots will seek their fourth straight title and fifteenth overall championship when they take to the field later in the week.

Tickets are currently on sale and available via GoFan for an advanced purchase rate of $13.00 per day, and a day of price of $16.00. For a complete schedule, state series brackets & matchups, as well as additional event information, please see below or visit the soccer sport page.
